Dear Theravada 8+ precept recipients*,

Please join us for a supportive discussion on the meaning, challenges, goals, and other details of being a lay Theravada Buddhist initiate. As part our effort to network and support each other, Bodhicari Bodhi (Eric Berg) and Bodhicarini Jayasili (Jacquetta Gomes) are hosting meetings for all the 8+ precept recipients twice a quarter and just for the Bodhicaris once a quarter.

This informal association was first envisioned by Bhante Walpola Piyananda (Chief Sangha Nayaka of America) in 2018. Today we are gratefully sponsored by: Bhante Piyananda, Bhante Saranasiri of Sambuddhaloka Vihara and Bhante Sumitta of Dhamma USA. Through the direction of our patrons, we regularly have a Theravada monk join us each month.

So please join us, and bring your questions, thoughts and kind words for a brief hour on Zoom. Please feel welcome to wear traditional white, cream or beige with your sash. Also, feel welcome sharing this invitation with anyone else who has received* Bodhicari, Dhammacari, Ajivatthamaka Sila, Eight Lifetime Precepts, Atthangika Uposatha Sila, or Sangha Authorized Dhamma Teacher precepts from a Theravada Buddhist Bhikkhu/Monk or Bhikkhuni/Nun.
